This year we awarded our winners a little differently. Instead of the students applying for the scholarship themselves, we asked the teachers to nominate a student that they thought had similar characteristics to how Lukie lived his life; funny, kind, sensitive to others around him, etc.

We had some great nominations & greatly appreciate the effort of the North Summit teachers. & we really appreciate everyone who donated & participated in last years event!

Today, we were able to award our second scholarship thanks to everyone who participated in & donated to the Live for Your Luke Foundation in 2021. We award scholarships to students at North Summit, where Luke loved attending high school. This scholarship is awarded to students who show the similar qualities Luke did when he was alive: service, kindness, gratitude, & compassion.

Not only were we able to award scholarships to awesome kids, but we were also able to donate cash awards to a suicide survivor and her family, and to provide a piece of equipment to a high-risk facility.
